Retriever to Sue Vogue, Metropolitan Museum After Being Denied Entry to Met Gala
Turns out Every Good Boy Deserves Forcible removal from the Met Gala as Cooper Barksdale, 4, was denied entry to the exclusive fundraiser on Monday. After snaking his way between limos, past photographers and up the front steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the golden retriever was stopped by security and coaxed into a harness using a Slim Jim. “This is catshit! I even wore my bowtie collar!”, exclaimed Mr. Barksdale as he was escorted away, “and relieved myself in the designated area prior to entry!”. The Gala’s representatives declined to comment on the matter but cited that Mr. Barksdale violated their strict “no live fur” dress code. In retaliation, a “Cooper, Not a Party Pooper” hashtag started trending on the popular social media site Twitter in support of the fashion focused pup.
When asked for his reason for attending, the Mr. Barksdale replied, “I saw a ball and went after it”.
