Heartwarming! Wife of Disgraced NBA Owner Stands Steadfast with Husband’s Immoral Ways
Thanksgiving may be around the corner but Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver received an early Valentine from his sweetheart Penny Sanders this week. The Vale-o-Insta-gram came in the form of some aggressively threatening DM’s from Mrs. Sanders social media account.
Earlier this week, allegations were made against Mr. Sarver for toxic, racist, and misogynistic behavior as the Suns owner. Wow, the big three! The allegations came from multiple players, coaches and employees within the organization and were peppered throughout Mr. Sarver’s 14-year tenure.
Defiantly resolute, Mrs. Sanders took umbrage to the copious allegations and, instead of reassessing her and her beloved’s lifestyle, decided to double-down on the toxicity. Rather than releasing a prepared statement through her PR team, Mrs. Sanders’s romantic retaliation came in the form of a handful of erratic and non-spellchecked messages on Instagram.
“How dare u!,” began one message to an accuser, “In all my years of being a wealthy white woman I have never been so offended. U’ve taken words right out of my husband’s mouth and used them against him! Shame on you!”
Overcome with love for her embattled husband, Mrs. Sanders refused to stand by and let her husband’s repeatedly documented use of the N-word affect her family’s name. Channeling her inner Mama Bear she continued to lash out at Suns employees for doing their civic duty.
“Just think of my f*cking kidz,” read another of Mrs. Sanders’ messages, “How are they possibly going to enjoy their millions in inheritance after it’s been tainted by your apt descriptions of the work environment my hubby cultivated! [frowny face emoji]”
When asked to confirm if it was in fact her who had sent the messages, Mrs. Sanders happily confirmed that she was the sender although admitting to be “pretty bombed off pinot” at the time.
Whether or not the allegations lead to dismissal, Mr. Sarver can take comfort in the fact that no matter how many people he sexualizes, his wife will only have sexual eyes for him.
