Pro-Lifer Caught Throwing Out Failed Sourdough Starter

A disturbing disturbance occurred Saturday evening in Oxnard, CA when known pro-lifer, Andy Banks, was seen depositing his two-day-old sourdough starter in the garbage outside his home.

The startling sight was observed by Banks’ neighbor, Jane Lawson, who had been eagle-eyeing Banks’ house ever since he flew a “Don’t Tread On Me” flag on the flagpole he installed in his front yard.

“I stopped by his house to ask about the 25 foot boner in the middle of his front yard,” said Lawson, in reference to Banks’ flagpole, “and he took that time to mention he fundamentally opposes a woman’s right to her body.”

Sourdough starters are made from flour and water, then left to sit for a few days to allow yeast and bacteria to populate. The process, called leavening, creates the live fungi and microorganisms needed to make the deliciously tangy bread.

As hypocritical as Banks’ recent actions are, Lawson has not been deterred to make Banks see reason.

“He said life began at conception, but decided to terminate his yeast baby two days into fermentation,” decried Lawson, “What will he tell the mother dough?!”

Banks “was forced” to move into the neighborhood after his previous neighbor put a Black Lives Matter sign in their yard.
